I'm a fellow struggler on a journey. Every day is a gift from God. I can't do anything to make God love me more, or anything to make God love me less. I don't have all the answers and after 20 years in pastoral ministry, I have more questions than answers. I am convinced that as imperfect and flawed as she is (because of people like me), the church is God's instrument to help the world meet and follow Jesus Christ. Sometimes we get it right and sometimes we screw it up terribly.
Family and friends, a good cup of coffee, golf and great books are gifts from God that I enjoy more and more. Redeem the time because life in these "earth suits" is very short. I hope my take on life, faith and the culture encourages, challenges, comforts and stimulates you. The words in this blog aren't meant to be exhaustive, or the opinion of an expert, just those of a fellow struggler, a pilgrim who said yes, when Jesus said, "Come, follow me."
